A PEEK INTO GROUPS FOUND IN NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP AND THEIR ADVANTAGES

Good morning guys.........hope your night was sweet?
This morning I've put together some groups you can function in during your 3weeks experience in NYSC orientation camp and the advantages of joining any of these groups.

  1. Red Cross: I'm sure many of us are already conversant with the duties of a Red Cross member. Their major duty is to administer first-aid treatment to people that cannot keep up during the rigorous exercises, parades and endurance trekking.

URGENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello beautiful people, now I must crave your indulgence to post this very sensitive story because it is heart wrenching, and in the spirit of community service for which this platform was created for, I feel it is about right that I post this…. Remember the plane crash incident that happened in Lagos state few days back. Well fortunately, there were survivors. But there are two survivors who are believed to be getting the worst kind of treatment in the hospital there were dumped…

Queeneth Owolabi

This is QUEENETH OWOLABI.she survived but with severe burns. she is married with two little daughters....she suffered third degree burns on most parts of her body and might probably need skin graft...As you can see from the pillow, she is loosing body fluid and is very very weak. she is presently in air-force base hospital.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM FOR NIGERIA???????

We all are aware of our recent "Independence Day " celebration which by the way i actually observed in my own little way by wearing a green polo top.

Now to the B.O.D.........I know 99.9% of us are not happy with the recent happenings in our beloved country and we whine and complain about it at every given opportunity but unfortunately our whining is not the solution to the problem.
I was opportune to attend a live worship program recently where the music-minister said Nigeria is a blessed country. He also said that the problems Nigeria is facing today would have been the cause of war in other nations if there were to be in our shoes but the Grace of God has been keeping this country together even with all the problems.

Even a 3year old  child is no longer a stranger to the problems in this nation, but this doesn't imply that we are the worst nation in the world.

Blessed Readers

a beautiful morning to you guys.... am sure y'all had a great weekend.
sorry for the silence through out the weekend, the team had to go back to the drawing board to see how we would make the blog uniquely satisfying for you the readers. its all about you guys.
so many Nigerian businesses and their goals are geared towards profit making. but we at www.patrioticcorper.blogspot.com are all about satisfying the customer. because when you give a satisfactory performance, people will come again. its all about changing, impacting, informing and blessing lives... that is what we are all about. the fame and popularity will come, the money will surely come, and when they do come, we will be at peace with ourselves and tell ourselves ''we did it the right way... and we didn't have to kill or sacrifice anybody or our integrity to achieve it''..... a wind of change is coming to Nigeria, the new selfless way of doing things is coming. there is nothing as utterly moral than impacting and investing in people's lives through your business.
lets take note of this ''the REAL most successful business men today are the ones who have used their business to touch lives''.
God bless you as you visit.... make sure you tell your friends and foes alike about us... have yourselves a wonderful week ahead. #Blessed

We would also welcome ideas and suggestions from our beloved readers. In that effect, we would provide an email account where all your ideas, general write ups and suggestions will be sent to

Check List on What You Need to Take to NYSC Camp

Guess you need to go for shopping before leaving for camp, so i have put together some list of things that you need to get together before you get to the camp ground.

Thank me later *winks*
I titled this document your check list before embarking on the journey to serve your fathers land.....

Here are some must haves before stepping out of the comfort of your home to the much anticipated journey.......
  1. White Shorts - It will definitely be given to you when you get to the camp ground but since its part of your daily attire all through your stay in the camp, i would advice you get 2 or 3 extra pairs. Guess you don't wanna rely on their oversize shorts.
  2. White Socks - At least 2 pairs, so that you won't be doing wash and wear during your stay in the orientation camp. Though you would be given some pairs during your registration process in camp.
  3. White T-shirts - At least 2. You will also be given during your registration process, though it might be oversize sometimes.
  4.  White Tennis Shoe - At least a pair. One will be given to you in camp.
  5. NYSC Khaki - If you can, it advisable you get a tailor to prepare one for you before going to camp or better still you can wait until you get to the camp and get one prepared for you in their Mammy market. Definitely one will be given to you in camp but most times its either too big or too small, so you have to go through the stress of looking fot who to trade by barter with. The problem of time wasting and double coincidence of want, might arise in this kind of situation.
